In 1930, J. Logan Kerr Limited was founded by the late James Logan Kerr II in Timmins, Ontario.
In the early years, Kerr did a lot of local and long distance trucking, hauling such things as gravel, coal and Robin Hood flour.
From the 1950’s to the early 1990’s Kerr was a moving agent for North American Van Lines and Atlas Van Lines and did a lot of local and long distance moving from coast to coast across Canada.
In 1972, Kerr Crane Service became a division of J. Logan Kerr Limited and was founded by James Logan Kerr III. Since its inception, the crane division has greatly expanded and has built itself a great reputation and has become a leader in the construction industry.
At present, the company is owned and operated by James Logan Kerr III and son James Logan Kerr IV.
